The perimeter of a rectangular field is 280 m. If the length of the filed is 80 m, find the area of the field.

▪Perimeter = 2(l+b)=280m

2(l+b)=280m

l+b=280/2=140m

▪length =80m(given)

l+b=140m

80m+b=140m

breadth =140-80=60m

Area=length ×breadth =80×60=4800sq.m
