GiveN :-

  • Perimeter of rectangular field = 3/5 Km

  • Length of field is twice of it's breadth

To FinD :-

  • Area of the rectangular field

SolutioN :-

Let's x be the breadth of field therefore length of field is 2x

Perimeter = 2 ( L + B )

→ 2 ( 2x + x ) = 3/5

→ 6x = 3/4

→ x = 3/4 × 6

→ x = 9/2

  • Breadth of field = x = 9/2 km

  • Length of field = 2x = 9 km

Now , area of the rectangular field

Area = L × B

→ 9/2 × 9

→ 81/2 Km²

Area of rectangular field is 81/2 Km²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length of rectangular field be x m

therefore, the breadth is 2x m

Given perimeter is 3/5km

= 3/5 x 1000m

= 600

= 2(x+2x)=600

= 3x=300

= x=100

Therefore, length=100m , breadth=200m

Thus,area of rectangular field= 200x100sq.m

=20000sq.m
