Answer:

breadth of rectangle= xm

length og rectangle=(2x-8)m

acc. to yhe question

perimeter of rectangle =56

2(l+b)=56

2(2x-8+x)=56

3x-8=56

3x=28+8

3x=36

x=36/3

x=12m

length= 2*12-8= 16

breadth = 12

Length = 2x-8m

Breadth = x m

A.T.Q.,

Perimeter = 56

2(l+b) = 56

2(2x-8+x) = 56

by solving this...

we get ,

x = 12m

L = 2×12-8 = 16m

B = 12m
