The perimeter of a rectangular field is 70 m and
its length is 15 m longer than its breadth. The field
is surrounded by a concrete path as shown in the
figure. Find the area of the path.

length=x+15

perimeter=2( l +b)

70=2(x +x +15)

35=2x+15

20=2x

x=10

area of path=total area-area of field

         new length=25+15+15=55m

        new breadth =10+2.5+2.5=15m

55*15m^2 - 25*10m^2

825m^2 - 250m^2

575m^2

i had made on taken 15m and 2.5m as length and breadth respectively

if its opposite then changhe the digits but the procedure will be as same
