2L + 2B = 80
L + B = 40

L*B = X
(L-2)*(B+2)=X +36
LB + 2L -2B -4 = X +36
X + (80-2B) -2B -4 = X +36
76-4B= 36
B=10
L=30

khushivk: How L+B =40?
Disciple: 2L + 2B = 80. .... 2(L+B)=80..... L + B = 80/2. .... L + B = 40
khushivk: Ok
khushivk: Thank u so much...
khushivk: Hws the 4th step??
Disciple: they gave it in question length decreased by 2 and breadth increased by 2 and we considered the area is X
