Answer:

\huge\purple\star\underline\mathfrak\pink{ANSWER :-}\purple\star

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length and breadth = 2x and 5x

Perimeter of a rectangle :- 2(l + b) i.e, 2(2x + 5x)

28 = 2(7x)

x = 2

So, length = 10cm and breadth = 4cm

The area of the rectangle is (10×4)cm = 40cm^2.

Step-by-step explanation:

let the length and breath be x

2x:5x

we know that.,

perimeter =sum of all sides

28=(2x+5x)2

28=(7x)2

x=28/14

x=2cm

length =2*2=4

breadth = 5*2=10

now,

area=l*b

area=10*4

area=40cm²
