Perimeter=2(l+b)
160=2(l + 10)
160=2l+20
160-20=2l
140=2l
140/2=l
70m

area of garden= l×b
=70 ×10
=. 700m2

Answer:

700 sq-m

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the area of rectangular garden.

given that:

Perimeter of rectangular park= 160 m

Breadth = 10 m

To find:

1) Length

2) Area

We know that

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b) unit

2(l + b) = 160 \\  \\ l + b =  \frac{160}{2}  \\  \\ l + 10 = 80 \\  \\ l = 80 - 10 \\  \\ l = 70 \: m \\  \\

Area:

 = l \times b \\  \\  = 70 \times 10 \\  \\  = 700 \:  {m}^{2}  \\  \\

Hope it helps you.
