The perimeter of a rectangular grassy plot is 189 m and breadth is 10.5 m. Find the breadth and area of the plot

Answer:

perimeter = 189 m

breadth = 10.5 m

2 ( l+ b ) = perimeter of rectangle

2 ( l + 10.5 ) = 189

l+ 10.5 = 189 ÷ 2

l + 10.5 = 95.5

l = 95.5 - 10.5

l = 84 m

area of the plot = l × b

= 84 × 10.5

= 882 m*2
