Perimeter of the rectangular grassy plot=2(length+breadth)

Therefore,

189=2(l+10.5)
189=2×l+21
189-21=2×l
168/2=l
84=length

Now;
To find the area of a rectangle, multiply the length by the width.

So...,

Area=length×breadth=84×10.5=882 m²

Answer =

→ Length = 84m

→ AREA = 882m²

Explaination :

=> PERIMETER of the RECTANGLE = 189 m ( 18900 cm )

=> BREADTH of the RECTANGLE = 10.5 ( 1050 cm)

=> PERIMETER of RECTANGLE = 2 (Length + Breadth)

=> 18900 = 2l + 2( 1050)

=> 18900 = 2l + 2100

=> 2l = 18900 - 2100

=> 2l = 16800

=> l = 16800 / 2

=> Length = 8400 cm

=> \large{\green{\boxed{\green{\boxed{\red{\textsf{L = 84m }}}}}}}

AREA of the plot =

=> Length × Breadth

=> 84 × 10.5

=> \large{\green{\boxed{\green{\boxed{\red{\textsf{882 Sq.m }}}}}}}

∴ The Length is 84m

∴ The area of the plot = 882 Sq.m
