Answer:

5600square meter

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter = 2(l+b)

length = 8x

breadth =7x

2(8x+7x)

2*15x

30x=300

x=300/30

x=10

AREA=80*70

AREA=5600m^2

Let the length and breadth of rectangular lawn be 8x and 7x respectively.

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

⇒ 300 = 2(8x + 7x)

⇒ 300 = 2(15x)

⇒ 15x = 300 ÷ 2

⇒ 15x = 150

⇒ x = 150 ÷ 15

x = 10

☞ Now let us find out Length and Breadth

Length = 8x = 8(10) = 80 m

Breadth = 7x = 7(10) = 70 m

For finding the area of the lawn;

Area = Length × Breadth

➥ Area = 80m × 70m

➼ Area = 5600 m²

Area of the Lawn = 5600 m²
