Given:

Perimeter of a rectangular paper=36 cm

Breadth=27/2 cm

To Find:

Length (l) =?

Solution:

Perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)

36=2(l+27/2)

36/2=l+27/2

18=l+27/2

18-27/2=l

l=36-27/2

l=9/2

l=4.5 cm

Therefore,

Length of the rectangular paper is 4.5 cm.

Answer:

Given :- The perimeter of a Rectangle paper is 36 cm.

The breadth of the rectangular paper is 27/2 cm.

Let, the length of the rectangular paper is "X" cm.

As we know,

Perimeter of rectangle =2( length + breadth. )

so, 36 = 2(x + 27/2)

x + 27/2 = 36/2

x = 18 - 27/2

x =9/2 cm

so the length of the rectangular paper is 9/2 cm.
