answer :-

given the perimeter of the rectangular park = 960m

length = 300m

breadth = ?

→ 2 (l + b) = perimeter of rectangle

therefore 2 (l + b) = 960m

→ 2 (300 + b) = 960m

→ 300 + b = 960/2

→ 300 + b = 480m

→ b = 480 - 300

→ b = 180m

the breadth of the rectangular park is 180m.

now it's area = length × breadth

= 300 × 180

= 54000m

hence, cost of grassing the park at the rate of rupees 1.75 per m² = 54000 × 1.75

= rupees 94500
