Answer:

Let the width of rect. plot be x

length = 3x

A/q

2( 3x + x ) = 240

=> 2 × 4x = 240

=> 8x = 240

=> x = 240/8

= 30

Width = x = 30 m

Length = 3x = 3 × 30

= 90 m

Now,

Area = 90 × 30

= 2700 m^2 Ans...

Answer:

Let the breadth (b) and length (l) of the rectangular plot be x and 3x

According to the question,

2 ( l + b ) = 240

2 ( 3x + x ) = 240

4x = 120

x = 30m , 3x = 3(30) = 90m

Now,

Area of rectangular park = lb

= 30 * 90

= 2700m²
