The perimeter of a rectangular plot of land is 100m. If the length is 30 m, find its

breadth . Also find the area.​

perimeter = 2(l+b)

given, perimeter = 100m and length (l) = 30m

so, 2 ( 30+ b) = 100

so, 60 + 2b =100

2b = 100 - 60 = 40

b = 40/2 = 20m

now, area = l × b = 30 × 20 = 600m²
