Heya !
_____________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________
Perimeter of pool (base) = l x b
where l = length
And b   = breadth
____________________________________________________________
Also it is given that if breadth is b then ,
the length is 2 more then twice of its breadth
I.e. 2b + 5 = length
_____________________________________________________________
Now
P = 2(l+b)
   = 2(2b+5 +b)
   = 4b + 10 + 2b
   = 6b+10
=> 6b+10 = 154
          6b = 144
            b = 144/6 = 72/3 cm
length = 2b + 5 = 72/3 + 5 = 72+15/3 cm
= 87/3 cm

Let the breadth of rectangular pool be x
& length be 2x+5
A.T.Q

✒ Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

✒ 154 = 2 ( 2x + 5 + x )

✒ 154 = 2 ( 3x + 5 )

✒ 154 = 6x + 10

✒ 154 - 10 = 6x

✒ 134 = 6x

✒ 134 / 6 = x

✒ 22.3 = x

✏ Length = 2x+5 = 2×22.3+5 = 49.6 m

✏ Breadth = x = 22.3 m
