Answer:

Let the length and breadth be 5x and 3x respectively.

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

160m = 2(5x + 3x)

160m = 2(8x)

160m = 16x

 \frac{160}{16}  \:  =  x

x = 10

__________________________________________

l = 5x = 5(10) = 50m

b = 3x = 3(10) = 30m

___________________________________________

Area of rectangle = l × b

= 50 × 30

= 1500m²
