Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

100 cm =2(35+b)

100/2 =35+b

50=35+b

50-35=b

15=B

THEREFORE, BREADTH IS 15 cm.

AREA OF RECTANGLE=l×b

=(35×15) cm²

=525cm²

Answer:

↬ GIVEN :-

  • Perimeter of a rectangular sheet = 100 cm
  • Length = 35 cm

TO FIND :-

  • Breadth =?
  • Area = ?

SOLUTION :-

We know that

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2( Length + Breadth)

  • 2( Length + Breadth ) = 100
  • 2( 35 + Breadth ) = 100
  • 35 + Breadth = 100/2
  • Breadth = 50 - 35
  • Breadth = 15 cm.

Now Area Of rectangular sheet-

  • Area of Sheet = Length × Breadth
  • = 35 × 15
  • Area of sheet = 525 sq. cm

Hence Breadth is. 15 cm and Area is 525 sq. cm
