Solution:

Given:

Perimeter of rectangular sheet = 100 cm

Length = 35 cm

We know,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

So,

2(Length + Breadth) = 100

( 35 + Breadth) =  \dfrac{100}{2}

35 + Breadth = 50

Breadth = 50 - 35 = 15 cm

Area of rectangular sheet = Length × Breadth

= 35 × 15

=  525 cm^{2}

Therefore,

Breadth = 15 cm

Area =  \bold{525 cm^{2}}

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of rectangle=100cm=2(l+b)

length=35cm

breadth=?

100cm=2(35cm+?)

100cm÷2=35cm+?

50cm=35cm+?

50cm-35cm=Breadth

15cm=Breadth

Area=length × breadth

Area=35cm×15cm

Area=525 cmsquare
