Step-by-step explanation:

p=100cm

p=2(l+b)

100=2(35+b)

100=70+2b

b=100-70/2

b=15cm

hope it helps you :)

Given that,

  • Perimeter of a rectangular sheet = 100 cm
  • Length of a rectangular sheet = 35 cm

We know that

\rightarrow Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (Length + Breadth)

  • 100 = 2 (35 + Breadth)
  • \frac{100}{2} = 35 + Breadth
  • 50 = 35 + Breadth
  • 50 - 35 = Breadth
  • 15 = Breadth

\rightarrow Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

  • 35 × 15
  • 525 cm²

\therefore The area of a rectangular sheet is 525 cm².
