Perimeter = 2 (Length + Breadth)

Given that the perimeter = 100 cm and length = 35 cm:

100 = 2(35 + breadth)

100 = 70 + 2 breadth

2 breadth = 100 - 70

2 breadth = 30

breadth = 15 cm

Find area:

Area = Length x Breadth

Area = 35 x 15 = 525 cm²

Answer: The breadth is 15 cm and the area is 525 cm².

HELLO FRIEND HERE IS YOUR ANSWER,,,,

Formula for perimeter of a rectangular sheet

= 2 Length + 2 Breadth

Since, the perimeter of a rectangular sheet is "100", by substituting it.

100 = 2 × 35 + 2 × Breadth

100 = 70 + 2 × Breadth

 100 - 70 = 2 \times breadth \\

 \frac{30}{2} = breadth \\

15 = breadth

To Find the Area of a given Rectangular Sheet, we have the formula of;

Area = Length × Breadth

area \: \: = 35 \: cm\times 15 \: cm \\ \\ area \: \: = 525 {cm}^{2}

Therefore,

Breadth of a rectangular sheet = 15 cm

Area of a rectangular sheet = 525  {cm}^{2}

Which are the given solutions for this type of query.
