The perimeter of a rectangular sheet is 100cm. If the length is 35cm, fine its breadth. Also find the area.​

Given,

perimeter of rectangular sheet = 100cm

length = 35cm

as we know that ,

perimeter of rectangle = 2×(l+b)

100= 2 × (35+b)

100 = 70 + 2b

100 -70 /2= b

30/2 = b

15 = b

hence the area of rectangular sheet = l ×b

= 35 × 15

=525 cm ..

again,
