the perimeter of a rectangular swimming pool is 154. Its length is 2m more than twice its breadth. What are the length and the breadth of the pool?

Let breadth = x
length = 2x + 2
Perimeter = 154
2 (l + b) = 154
2(2x + 2 + x) = 154
3x + 2 = 154/2
3x + 2 = 77
3x = 77 - 2
= 75
x = 75/3
= 25
Breadth = 25
Length = 2* 25 + 2
= 52

length be 2x+2
according to question
2 (x+2x+2) = 154
2x+4x+4 = 154
6x+4 = 154
6x = 154 - 4
x = 150/6
x = 25
hence breadth =25m
length = 2×25 +2= 52m
