Answer:

\large\boxed{\star\:\:\:Length\:=52\:m\:and\:Breadth=25\:m.\:\:\:\star}

Step-by-step explanation:

let the length be x and the breadth be y.

Given:-

The perimeter of the rectangular swimming pool is 154 m and y=2x+2.

To Find:-

The length and the breadth of the pool.

Formula Applied:-

perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)

Solution:-

perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)

⇒154=2(x+y)

⇒154=2(x+2x+2)

\implies\frac{154}{2} =3x+2

\implies77 =3x+2

\implies3x=77-2

\implies3x=75

\implies x=\frac{75}{3}

\implies\boxed{x=25}

∴ Length=2x+2=2(25)+2=50+2= 52 m.

  Breadth=x= 25 m.

SOLUTION :

LET THE BREADTH BE x

SO,

LENGTH = 2 + 2x

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION

PERIMETER : 154

2(L+B) = 154 ( formula of perimeter of

rectangle)

L+B = 154/2

L+B =77

NOW, PUTTING THE VALUE OF y and x

(2+2x)+x = 77

2+3x = 77

3x = 77 - 2

3x = 75

x = 75/3

x = 25

=> breadth = 25 cm

length = 2+2x

=2+2(25)

=2+50

= 52 cm
