here,

let the length be x m and breadth be y m

according to the condition,

x= 2 + 3y.....(1)

now,

according to the formula,

perimeter= 2(l+b)

154 =2(x+y)

154 = 2(2+3y+y)

154 = 2(2+4y)

154 = 4+ 8y

154-4 = 8y

150 = 8y

150/8 = y

18.75 = y

now,

length= 2+3y= 2+ 3(18.75) =2+56.25= 58.25 m
