Hey mate
Here is your answer :--
Let the length be x
and breadth be y
so, according to condition,
x = 2y +2. ------(1)
perimeter of pool is 154 m. ------ (given)
p of pool = 2( l + b)
154 = 2 ( x + y) ----- (2)
substituting x = 2y + 2 in the equation (2)
154 = 2 ( 2y + 2 + y)
154 = 2 ( 3y + 2)
154/2 = 3y + 2
77 = 3y + 2
77 - 2 = 3y
75 = 3y
75/3 = y
so, y = 25
substituting y = 25 in equation (1)
so, x = 2y +2
= 2 × 25 + 2
= 50+2
= 52
so, length of the pool is x = 52 m
and the breadth of the pool is y = 25 m

Given :-
- Perimeter = 154 m
Let the breath be x m
∴ Length be 2x + 2 m
To Find :-
- Length
- Breadth
Solution :-
Formula of Perimeter :-
P = 2 ( l + b)
Where
- l = length
- b = breath
- P = Perimeter
So, let's substitute the values
⟹ 154 = 2( x + 2x + 2)
⟹ 154 = 2 ( 3x + 2)
⟹ 154 = 6x + 4
⟹ 154 - 4 = 6x
⟹ 150 = 6x
⟹ 6x = 150
⟹ x = 150/6
⟹ x = 25
Thus, we got the value of x i.e 25
Now, we will be substituting these value in the length & Breadth
Breadth = x = 25 m
Length = 2x + 2 = 25 × 2 + 2 = 50 + 2 = 52 m
Thus, breadth is 25 m & length is 52 m of that pool.
