Step-by-step explanation:

let the breadth of rectangle be x

length = (2 + 2x)m

perimeter of rectangle=2(length+breadth)

154 = 2(2+2x+x)

2(3x+2) = 154

6x + 4 = 154

6x = 154 – 4

6x = 150

x = 150/6

x = 25

therefore ,

breadth of rectangle = x = 25m

length = (2+2x)

= (2+2×25)

= (2+50)

= 52m

hope it helps you ☺️

Answer:

Breadth = 25 m

Length = 52 m

Step-By-Step Explanation:

Given that,

Perimeter of rectangular swimming pool = 154 m

Let the breadth of rectangle be = x

According to the question,

Length of the rectangle = 2x + 2

We know that,

Perimeter = 2(length + breadth)

⇒ 2(2x + 2 + x) = 154 m

⇒ 2(3x + 2) = 154

⇒ 3x +2 = 154/2

⇒ 3x = 77 – 2

⇒ 3x = 75

⇒ x = 75/3

⇒ x = 25 m

Therefore, Breadth = x = 25 cm

Length = 2x + 2

= (2 × 25) + 2

= 50 + 2

= 52 m
