\huge\bold{Answer:-}

Given :-

  • The perimeter of a rectangular pool is 154 m

  • The length is 2m more than twice its breadth .

To Find :-

  • The length and breadth of the rectangular swimming pool

Solution:-

let, the breadth of the pool be x m

the length of the pool is ( 2x + 2 )m

we know,

perimeter of a rectangle = 2( length + breadth) unit.

ATQ

➱ 2( x + 2x + 2 ) = 154

➱ 3x + 2 = \dfrac{154}{2}

➱ 3x + 2 = 77

➱ 3x = 77 - 2

➱ 3x = 75

➱ x = \dfrac{75}{3}

➱ x = 25

As x = 25 i.e,

The breadth of the rectangular pool is 25 m

The length of the rectangular pool is ( 2x + 2 ) m

= ( 2 × 25 + 2 )m

= ( 50 + 2 ) m

= 52 m
