the perimeter of a rectangular swimming pool is 154m. Its length is 2m more than twice its breadth. what are the langht and breadth of the pool?​

l= 2+2b

perimetre of rectangle = 2(l+b)

154 = 2(2+2b+b)

154/2 = (2+3b)

77 = 2+3b

77-2 =3b

75 =3b

75/3 =b

25 =b

and

l = 2+2x25

l = 2+50

l =52

perimeter of rectangle= 2 (l + b)

=> 154 = 2( 2 + 2x + x )

=> 154 = 2( 2 + 3x )

=> 154 = 4 + 6x

=> 154 - 4 = 6x

=> 150 = 6x

=> x = 150/ 6

=> x = 25

Therefore, Breadth = ' X ' m = 25 m

And Length = (2 + 2x) m

= 2 + 2× 25

= 2+ 50

= 52 m
