perimeter of a rectangular = 2(l+b)=188

= 2(2x+4+x)=188

2(3x+4)=188

6x+8=188

6x=188-8

6x=180

x=180÷6

x=30

therefore,

breath = x = 30

length = 2x+4 = 2×30+4 = 60+4 =64
