hi frnd

perimeter of a rectangular pool =40m

let width=x

so length=x+4

perimeter of a rectangle =2(l+b)

so 2(x+x+4)=40

2(2x+4)=40

4x+8=40

4x=40-8

4x=32

x=32/4

x=8

therefore width =8m

so length =x+4

=12

I believe this will help u ;)
