Given :-

  • Perimeter of sheet = 100 cm
  • Length of sheet = 35 cm

To Find :-

Breadth

Area

Solution :-

Let the breadth be x

As we know that

Perimeter = 2(L + B)

100 = 2(35 + x)

100 = 70 + 2x

100 - 70 = 2x

30 = 2x

x =  \dfrac{30}{2}

x = 15

Now,

Let's find Area

Area = Length × Breadth

Area = 35 × 15
