Explanation:

HEXAGON:

LET EACH SIDE OF THE REGULAR HEXAGON HAS LENGTH OF x cm.

PERIMETER = 6×(x cm) = 6x cm

SQUARE:

EACH SIDE OF SQUARE HAS LENGTH = 12 cm

PERIMETER = 4×12 cm = 48 cm

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION,

6x = 2(48) [ Units got removed ]

=> x = 2×48×(1/6) = 2×8 = 16

HENCE THE LENGTH OF THE SIDES OF THE REGULAR HEXAGON IS 16 cm.
