Perimeter of rhombus = 40 cm

Therefore its side 40/ 4 = 10 cm

One diagonal = 16 cm

Now find other diagonal by dividing rhombus in four triangle and using pythagoras theorem

Let's try to find

Keep other diagonal's half as x

10 square = 8 square + x square

100-64 = x square

root under 36 = x

6 cm = x

Therefore other diagonal will be 2* 6 = 12 cm

Now let's find area

Area of rhombus = 1/2* diagonal 1* diagonal 2

Area = 1/2* 16* 12

Area = 96 cm square

I hope it helps you
