The perimeter of a rhombus ABCD is 100 cm. If the length of the diagonal AC is 14 cm, find the
diagonal BD

we know that.......... the diagonal of rhombus bisect each other at 90° equally

by pythagoras theorem......

In triangle DOC , WE HAVE AO =CO = 7 CM

DC^2=OC^2 + DO^2

25^2=7^2 +DO^2

DO^2 =(25+7 ) (25- 7)

= 32× 18

DO^2 = 576

SO, DO = UNDER ROOT 576

DO = under root 24×24

DO= 24CM

BD = 2 × DO

= 2 × 24

= 48 CM
