Given:-

Area of rhombus = 12 cm²

Perimeter of rhombus = 16 cm

Side of rhombus = P/4
= 16/4
= 4 cm

Area of rhombus = b × h
12 = 4 × h
h = 12/4
h = 3 cm Ans.

Ans.) The altitude of rhombus is 3 cm.

Hi friend,

Perimeter of the rhombus=16cm
Side of the rhombus=perimeter/4
=16/4
=4cm

Area of the rhombus=12cm^2
Base=4cm
Height=? let it be x

12=4*x
12=4x
12/4=x
3cm=x
x=3cm

CHECK-:

Area= b*h
=4*3
=12cm^2.

So we got to know that the altitude(height) of the rhombus is 3cm.

Hope it helped you...........................
