The perimeter of rhombus = 4a

20 = 4a

20/4 = a

5 = a.

The other side is 5cm.

The area of rhombus = 1/2×d1×d2

=1/2×5×8

= 5×4

=20.

Therefore the area of rhombus is 20cm.
