Let ABCD is a rhombus whose each side is x cm., diagonal AC =12cm. Other diagonal BD meets AC at point O.

x=p/4=40/4=10cm.

In right angled triangle AOB

OA^2+OB^2= AB^2

(AC/2)^2+(BD/2)^2=(x)^2

(12/2)^2+(BD)^2=(10)^2

(BD^2)/4=100–36=64

BD^2=256

BD=16 cm. , Answer
