Perimeter of rhombus = 46cm
4s = 46
Side = s = 46/4 = 11.5 cms
Base = 11.5cm
Area of rhombus = lb
= 11.5 X 8
= 92 cm²
Hence… the area of rhombus is 92 cm²

Given in the question that perimeter of the rhombus is 46 cm.

As we all know that, a rhombus has all it's sides equal in length.

So perimeter of rhombus can be calculated by multiplying the length of the sides by 4.

So, 4× ( length of side) = 46 cm

Therefore, length of side of rhombus is 46/4 = 11.5 cm

So, length of base is 11.5 cm.

Height of rhombus given in question is 8 cm

So area of a rhombus can be calculated by formula b × h

Therefore, area of rhombus= 11.5 × 8 cm^2 = 92 cm^2

Hence, area of rhombus is 92 cm^2
