The perimeter of a rhombus is 56cm. if its altitude is 12cm, find its area.

In a rhombus we know that all sides are equal in length.

Perimeter=4x side length

56=4×side length.

Side length=56/4

=14 cm

Area of rhombus = altitude×base

119= 14× alt.

Alt. = 8.5 cm
