Perimeter of right angle triangle=a+b+✓a²+b²

30=13+b✓30²+b²

30-13=b+✓900+b²

17²=b+900+b²

289=b+900+b²

b²+b+900-289=0

Apply the formula of factorisation

b=-1+-√1²-4×1×611/2×1

b=-1+-√1-2444/2

b=-1+-√-2443/2

b=-1+(-49.4267134)/2 or, b=. -1-(-49.4267134)

b=-50.4267134/2 or, b=48.4267134/2

b=-25.2133567. or, b= 24.2133567

b=-25(approx). Or, b= 24(approx)

We know that side never be negative..

Then b=24

So, third side c²=b²- a²

c²=24²-13²

c²=576-169

C=√407

C=20.174241

So, c=20(approx)
