let the sides of right angled triangle are AB,BC,AC

AB is the smallest side,AC is longest side

AB=21cm

Given ,

AB+BC+AC=84

AC=84-BC-AB

AC=63-BC

By pythagoras theorem

 {ac }^{2}  =  {bc}^{2}  +  {ab}^{2}

 {ac}^{2}  =  {bc}^{2}  + 441

bc =  \sqrt{ {ac}^{2} - 441 }

put this in (1)

ac = 63 -  \sqrt{ {ac}^{2} - 441 }

SOLVE FOR AC

U WILL GET THE ANSWER

AC= 35CM
