The perimeter of a right triangle is 12 cm . Its hypotenuse is 5 cm base is 4 cm .find the area of the triangle.

h= 12 - 5 -4= 3cm

area =
 \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h
 \frac{1}{2}  \times 4 \times 3 = 6 { \: cm}^{2}

Here is your answer

Perimeter= 12 cm
Hypotenuse = 5 cm
Base = 4cm

Altitude = 12 - 5 - 4
= 3 cm

Now
Area of triangle = 1/2 base× Altitude
 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 4 \times 3 \\  = 6 \: cm {}^{2}
Hence
Area is 6 Sq.cm
