The length of three sides of right angle are 6.64 cm , 4.98 cm, 8.3 cm

Solution:

sides containing the right angle are the ratio 4 :3

Let one side be 4x

Let other side be 3x

Then,

hypotenuse^2 = (4x)^2 +( 3x)^2\\\\hypotenuse^2 = 16x^2 + 9x^2 \\\\hypotenuse^2 = 25x^2\\\\hypotenuse = 5x

Thus, length of third side be 5x

Given that,

Perimeter of right angle = sum of length of all sides

perimeter of a right triangle is 20 cm

20 = 4x + 3x + 5x

12x = 20

x = 1.66

Thus the length of sides are:

4x = 6.64

3x = 4.98

5x = 8.3

Thus length of three sides of right angle are 6.64 cm , 4.98 cm, 8.3 cm
