Answer:

30cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

As per Pythagoras theorem you'll get height as 12 cm and area of triangle is 1/2 X base X height.

then 1/2 X 5 cm x 12 cm

= 5cm X 12cm

=30cm^2

Dimensions of the right angled

triangle are =

Base ( b ) = 5 cm

Hypotenuse ( h ) = 13 cm

LET ALTITUDE = x cm

Perimeter of the triangle = 30 cm

b + h + x = 30

5 + 13 + x = 30

18 + x = 30

x = 30 - 18

x = 12 cm

Area of the triangle = (base * altitude)/2

= (bx)/2

= (5*12)/2

= 5*6

= 30 cm^2 (Answer)
