Given:-

  • The perimeter of right angle triangle is 60cm and hypothenuse is 26cm.

To Find:-

  • Find two sides of triangle.

Solution:-

a + b + c = 60

️ ➭ a + b + 26 = 60

️ ➭ a + b = 60 - 26

️ ➭ a + b = 34 ..... ( 1 )

And,

️ ➭ a² + b² = 676

Squares on both sides for equation ( 1 ):-

️ ➭ (a + b)² = 34²

️ ➭ a² + b² + 2ab = 1156

️ ➭ 676 + 2ab = 1156

️ ➭ 2ab = 1156 - 676

️ ➭ 2ab = 480

️ ➭ ab = 480/2

\tt { \boxed{ \: ab \:  =  \: 240 \: } }

  • By solving we get a = 10 and

b = 24.
