Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

  • Perimeter of room = 2 x ( l + b ) = 36m
  • Length of room = 10m

To find :

  • Breadth of room
  • Area of room

Solution :

According to the question,

2 x ( l + b ) = 36

=> 2 x ( 10 + b ) = 36

=> 10 + b = 36 / 2

=> 10 + b = 18

=> b = 18 - 10

=> b = 8

________________________________

Area of rectangle = length x breadth

Therefore, area of room = l x b

=> 10 x 8

=> 80

 \color{blue}{area = {80m}^{2} }
