let the side of square PQRS be y

4x=12+4y

x=12+4y

x=(3+y)

Area of sq ABCD = 3*area of sq PQRS-11

x2=3y2-11

(3+y)2=3y2-11

9+y2+6y=3y2-11

=3y2-y2-6y-11-9

=2y2-6y-20

=y2-3y-10

=y2+2y-5y-10

=y(y+2)-5(y+2)

=(y+2)(y-5)

y=5

perimeter of the second square is

=4y

=4(5)

=20
