15 + 15+ 15+ 15 = (18 + x) 2
60 = (18 + x) 2
60 - 36 = 2x
24 = 2x
24/2 = x
12 = x

Answer:

12 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

If Rectangle L=18 cm..

                    B = ?

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(L+B)

square Base =a = 15 cm

Perimeter of square = 4a = 4x15

Perimeter of Rectangle  =  Permeter of suare

                             2(L+B) = 4a

                             2(18+B)=4x15

                             36+2B=60

                                   2B=60-36

                                   2B=24

                                      B=24/2

                                      B=12

So....the breadth of the rectangle 12 cm
