We have given that,

Perimeter of the square = perimeter of the rectangle

Let L and B are the length and breadth of rectangle

⇒4×sides=2×(length+breadth)

⇒4×15 cm=2×(18 cm+B)

⇒60 cm=2×(18 cm+B)

⇒B=(30−18)cm=12 cm

Area of the rectangular block

⇒length×breadth=(18×12)cm²

=216 cm²

perimeter of both = 15 x 4 = 60cm

also for rectangle ,60 = (18x2) +(2b)

b= 12 cm

Area of Rectangle = 12 x 18 =216 cm²
