∴ perimeter of retangle =24cm
       perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)
                                       24cm=2(2x +x)
                                         24=4x+2x
                                            24=6x
                                               6x=24
                                                   x=24÷6
                                                   x=4
                     ∴length of the rectangle=2x=2×4=8
                        breath of rectangle =x=4
